About Us

American Living has been helping Michigan homeowners build modular homes since 1972. We're a family-owned, Michigan-based company, and after more than 50 years in the business, we still believe building a home should start with straightforward answers, personal service, and a team you can trust.

We've worked with homeowners across Michigan, from Holland, Muskegon, and Grand Rapids to Ludington, Cadillac, Traverse City, Lansing, South Haven, and beyond. Whether you're building your first home, a lakefront getaway, or a custom home for the next chapter of your life, our team is here to help you understand your options and guide you through the process.

We're not a national call center or a company that simply sells you a floor plan and sends you on your way. You'll work with real people who understand modular construction, Michigan building requirements, and the many decisions that go into turning a home design into a finished project.
